PRO-FEMMES/TWESE HAMWE’s interventions bases on the following four (4) areas of its strategic plan (2006-2010) :

• Institutional and organisational capacity building of the Umbrella and its members ;

-* Advocacy for the improvement of women’s health and socio-economic status ;

-* Expand partnership to new stakeholders ;

-* Promoting culture of peace.

Efforts will be concentrated on the following actions :

• Reinforcement of mass education in general, gender in particular, family planning and maternity at low risks ;

• Reinforcement of women’s socio economic power through households resources rational management ;

• Advocacy so as to remove obstacles to women’s health, socio economic and legal promotion ;

• Strengthen collaboration with state structures in general, and decentralised structures in particular ;

• Setting up self-funding policy.
