Barakabaho Foundation
Barakabaho Foundation is a local NGO, established December 3, 1994. Barakabaho obtained his legal personality by the Ministerial Decree No. 35/05 of 16 February 1995, updated by the Act No. 20/2000 of 26 July 2000 on non-profit associations. Approval of amendments to the statutes renewed legal personality Barakabaho by the Ministerial Decree No. 008/11 of 17 January 2003.
Mission
To reintegrate child headed households, those in foster families, and female victims of violence into Rwandan society through psychological, social, economic, and spiritual change.
Vision
The Barakabaho Foundation advocates for a society where orphans and vulnerable foster families enjoy physical, mental, intellectual, economic, emotional and spiritual welfare.
Objectifs
Ensure the physical well-being, moral, spiritual, intellectual and emotional development of children orphaned by preparing them for social integration in active life ;
Mediate between foster families of orphans and children living only with institutions working for the family welfare ;
Provide training in the education of orphans ;
Seek funding for income-generating projects for host families and child-headed households.

3. Healthcare (youth and drug abuse, HIV/AIDS and trauma counseling)
4. Advocacy and lobbying for survivors and other vulnerable beneficiaries.
